Sun PhuQuoc Airways launches new direct flights to Seoul
Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) has launched two new direct flight routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Seoul, South Korea. These routes operate with a frequency of one round trip per day for each city. Combined with the airline's existing Phu Quoc to Seoul service, the expansion provides direct connections between Seoul and three major Vietnamese hubs.
To support its growing international network, SPA plans to expand its fleet to 32 aircraft by 2026. This expansion includes the addition of four Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft scheduled to enter service between October and December 2026. These aircraft are intended to bolster the airline's capacity for medium and long-haul international routes.
The new routes aim to facilitate increased travel and trade between Vietnam and South Korea, a key market that saw approximately 4.3 million international visitors to Vietnam in 2025.
