Sun PhuQuoc Airways to launch direct flights between Ahmedabad and Phu Quoc

Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) has announced its first direct route to India, connecting Ahmedabad and Phu Quoc starting December 3, 2026. The service will initially operate five flights per week, with plans to increase frequency to daily service by early February 2027.

The route will utilize Airbus A321neo aircraft, offering a full-service experience with menus tailored to Indian cultural and religious preferences, including vegetarian, Halal, and non-beef/non-pork options. Flight 9G315 will depart Phu Quoc at 19:35, arriving in Ahmedabad at 23:30, while the return Flight 9G314 departs Ahmedabad at 01:00, arriving in Phu Quoc at 07:15.

This expansion marks the beginning of SPA’s entry into the Indian market, with the airline aiming to launch additional routes to other Indian cities in the first quarter of 2027. The airline expects its fleet to grow to 33 aircraft by the end of 2026 and 58 aircraft by the end of 2027.
