Sun Shaocheng expelled from Party and public office
Sun Shaocheng, former deputy director of the Social Development Committee of the 14th National People's Congress and former Party Secretary of Inner Mongolia, has been expelled from the Communist Party and removed from public office. Following an investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision, authorities determined that Sun committed serious violations of discipline and law.
Specific findings include failing to implement central decisions, resisting organizational scrutiny, engaging in superstitious activities, and accepting bribes. The investigation also noted that Sun violated integrity standards by accepting improper banquets, interfering in judicial activities, and using his influence to benefit relatives in business and project approvals.
