Sun Tianchang faces academic pressure after early university entry

Sun Tianchang, a former child prodigy, has faced significant challenges after entering the University of Science and Technology of China. Born into a family of educators, Sun demonstrated exceptional abilities early on, reading 2,000 Chinese characters by age three and taking the university entrance exam at age 12.

After scoring 594 on his first attempt at age 12, he chose to delay enrollment to strengthen his knowledge. However, upon joining the talent class at the university, he encountered intense competitive pressure and a loss of direction, leading to a period of distraction with video games.
