Sun Yat-sen University EMBA team departs for Gobi Desert challenge

The Sun Yat-sen University EMBA Gobi Friends Association has assembled a team of 21 participants and staff to compete in the 21st Xuanzang Journey Gobi Challenge. The expedition will travel from Kaohsiung to the Dunhuang Gobi Desert.

Under the theme ‘World Class,’ the team aims to test their physical endurance and mental willpower against extreme desert environments. The event serves as a long-standing alumni tradition for the university, fostering intergenerational connections and teamwork. Led by Professor Tsai Chia-fen, Chairperson Chuo Chih-che, and team leader Hung Chun-chieh, the group views the challenge as a way to push personal boundaries and strengthen professional and personal resilience.
