Sunan Giri commemoration in Gresik draws 50,000 attendees

Approximately 50,000 students (santri) gathered in Gresik, East Java, for the annual Haul of Kanjeng Sunan Giri. The event, held along Jalan Sunan Giri, honored one of the Wali Songo members known for spreading Islam through cultural and moral approaches.

The commemoration included religious activities such as dhikr and was attended by Al-Habib Quraisy bin Qosim Baharun. To support the large gathering, volunteers prepared food for committees and attendees. ArsyGas, an LPG service provider developed by PT ARSynergy NiX Indonesia, provided fuel for the communal kitchens used to prepare meals like rice, green mussels, and vegetable soup.

ArsyGas, which began operations in April 2024, utilizes an online ordering system and a weighing mechanism to ensure users receive the correct amount of gas upon delivery and after use.
