SunCoke Energy posts Q2 earnings beat, raises full‑year outlook and declares $0.12 dividend
SunCoke Energy reported second‑quarter 2026 consolidated adjusted EBITDA of $69.6 million, up from $43.6 million a year earlier, driven by the Phoenix acquisition, higher terminal handling volumes and improved coal‑to‑coke yields. Net income attributable to SunCoke was $0.15 per share, an increase of $0.13 year‑over‑year. The domestic coke segment generated $42.5 million of adjusted EBITDA, with coke sales of 878,000 tons.
The company raised its full‑year adjusted EBITDA guidance to $250‑$265 million and its domestic coke EBITDA outlook to $172‑$178 million. It also announced a quarterly dividend of $0.12 per share, payable September 2, 2026, marking the 28th consecutive dividend and an annualized yield of about 5.7%. The ex‑dividend date is August 17. SunCoke’s stock traded around $8.42, and analysts project earnings of $0.19 per share for the next year.
