Sundeep Kishan's Fantasy Film Karikaala Set for 2027 Dual Release

Indian actor Sundeep Kishan will headline the upcoming fantasy‑action film Karikaala. The project is directed by Ugandhar Muni, who previously delivered Shambhala, and produced by Mahidhar Reddy and Rajashekhar Annabhimoju under Shining Pictures. A first‑look poster shows Kishan as a warrior on horseback accompanied by a roaring lion, hinting at a grand socio‑fantasy world inspired by classic Chandamama fairy tales.

Karikaala is planned as a two‑part pan‑India release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Chapter 1 is scheduled for 2 July 2027, with Chapter 2 to follow on 28 October 2027. The film’s music will be composed by Sricharan Pakala, and the makers promise extensive visual effects, elaborate production design and immersive storytelling.
