Sunderland AFC prepares for arrival of Ecuadorian forward Juan Riquelme Angulo

Ecuadorian forward Juan Riquelme Angulo is set to join Sunderland AFC in England after his work visa was approved. The 18-year-old, formerly of Independiente del Valle, is expected to arrive in the United Kingdom this week to integrate with the squad. Sunderland manager Régis Le Bris has confirmed the player's documentation is in order and noted Angulo's high potential.

Angulo will join fellow Ecuadorian Nilson Angulo at the club. Nilson Angulo has already made an impact in the Premier League, having scored a goal that was nominated for goal of the month. Manager Le Bris praised Nilson's development and character, stating that the World Cup provided him with significant confidence.
