Sunderland AFC secures contract extensions for Mundle and Roefs

Sunderland AFC has secured the long-term future of midfielder Romaine Mundle, who has signed a new four-year contract extending his stay until June 2030. Mundle, a 23-year-old winger who joined from Standard Liege, contributed six goals and two assists during his time with the club, helping the team achieve promotion to the Premier League.

Additionally, reports indicate that the club is working to extend the contract of Dutch international goalkeeper Robin Roefs. The 23-year-old shot-stopper, who joined from NEC Nijmegen, is expected to sign a deal lasting until 2031 following a season in which he recorded 10 clean sheets in 35 Premier League appearances.
