Sunetra Pawar's Meeting with Prashant Kishor Sparks BJP Warning on Mahayuti Alliance Unity

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar met political strategist Prashant Kishor at his Mumbai residence, prompting speculation about Kishor’s role in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). NCP state president Sunil Tatkare said the encounter was a courtesy call and denied any formal advisory appointment, stating, “I am not aware of Prashant Kishor working for the Nationalist Congress Party.”

Senior BJP leader and Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule cautioned the Mahayuti alliance partners to avoid actions that could create mistrust, urging adherence to the coalition’s code of conduct. He emphasized that the meeting was an internal NCP matter but warned that any step perceived as destabilising could harm the ruling alliance, which includes the BJP, Shiv Sena and the NCP.
