SunExpress increases flight frequencies from Paderborn/Lippstadt to Antalya
SunExpress is increasing flight frequencies from Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport to Antalya, Turkey, for the autumn 2026 season. In response to high booking demand, the airline will expand its service to up to four daily flights during September and October 2026.
The expansion aims to cater to travelers from the Ostwestfalen-Lippe and Südwestfalen regions seeking warmer climates during the autumn months. This increase in capacity is intended to stabilize the regional airport's operating results following previous restructuring processes by focusing on high-demand holiday destinations.
SunExpress is a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. While the increased frequency secures a significant market share on this route, aviation analysts note that the airport's reliance on a few major holiday destinations and specific providers remains a critical factor in its business strategy.
