Intersolar Europe 2026 showcases new solar‑power and storage solutions

At Intersolar Europe 2026, leading renewable‑energy firms announced a series of next‑generation products.

Huawei unveiled its LUTERRA smart string‑grid‑forming ESS platform, supporting 1000 V AC and offering up to 12.5 MW/50 MWh capacity. The company also earned the Smarter E Award for its SUN2000‑506KTL inverter, the first utility‑scale string inverter to exceed 500 kW, featuring 1000 V AC support and grid‑forming capability.

Sungrow introduced the SG510HX string inverter together with the MVS7440‑LV medium‑voltage station as a turnkey solution that cuts balance‑of‑system costs and improves safety through multi‑layer protection and AI‑driven optimisation. The firm also launched the SG125CX‑P3 commercial‑and‑industrial inverter, highlighting 98.5 % efficiency, active protection architecture and advanced self‑cleaning cooling.

LONGi Solar presented the LONGi ONE full‑stack battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio, integrating its back‑contact PV modules with a 5S storage platform and AI‑driven energy management, promising 93 % round‑trip efficiency and reduced deployment times.

NextPower outlined its acquisition‑driven expansion, adding inverter, battery‑storage and mounting‑system capabilities to its tracker core, citing recent purchases of ZGR Apex, Prevalon Energy and Zimmerman PV Steel Group to broaden its utility‑scale solar and storage offerings.
