Sungurlu District Launches Major Housing and Water Projects

Sungurlu Municipality held a joint opening and groundbreaking ceremony for several large‑scale investments. The new Galericiler residential site and a 5,000‑ton capacity water reservoir were officially opened, while the foundations for a Martyrs' Monument and a condolence house were laid.

The events were attended by Governor Ali Çalgan, Mayor Muhsin Dere, MP Vahit Kayrıcı, the district kaymakam Mutlu Köksal and other local officials. In speeches, officials highlighted the projects as part of the "Anadolu'nun yükselen gücü Sungurlu" vision, aiming to strengthen the local economy, improve infrastructure and honor fallen soldiers. The housing site, water depot and memorial are expected to boost living standards and support future growth in the district.
