Sunil Narine claims 650th T20 cricket wicket
West Indies spinner Sunil Narine has become only the second bowler in history to claim 650 wickets in T20 cricket. He achieved this milestone while playing for the Trinbago Knight Riders in a Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2026) match against the Saint Lucia Kings.
Narine reached the mark in his 611th T20 match by dismissing John Campbell. He joins Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan as the only other player to reach this milestone, with Khan currently leading the all-time list with 736 wickets. Dwayne Bravo follows in third place with 631 wickets.
In addition to his bowling achievements, Narine has demonstrated versatility by scoring 4,881 runs across 390 T20 innings. He also holds the record for the most wickets in CPL history with 137, and was the first foreign bowler to reach 200 wickets in the Indian Premier League.
