Govinda threatens Rs 100 crore lawsuit over false marriage rumors

Actor Govinda has issued a public notice threatening legal action and damages of Rs 100 crore against the circulation of false and unverified reports regarding his personal life. The notice specifically targets the use of artificial intelligence to create deepfakes, morphed images, and synthetic audio or video, stating that no permission has been granted to use his likeness or identity in such a manner.

The legal warning follows a period of intense public scrutiny regarding his marriage to Sunita Ahuja. Sunita recently withdrew a divorce petition, claiming she did so because of rumors that Govinda was planning to marry actress Komal Rani Swarnkar. However, Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, has denied these claims, stating there are no plans for a second marriage.

Amidst the controversy, Govinda was recently seen leaving a hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, though the reason for his visit remains unconfirmed. Govinda’s niece, Arti Singh, has declined to comment on the specifics of the family matter, stating she prefers not to speak on issues involving her elders.
