Singer Sunmi's upcoming fan meeting in Shanghai, titled ‘2026 SUNMI Shanghai Fan Meeting ‘Meet SUNMI in Late Summer’’, has been abruptly cancelled just four days before its scheduled date of September 5.

Her agency, Abyss Company, announced the decision via official social media channels, stating that after a final review of local operations and preparation status, they determined they could not guarantee the stable event management and high-quality experience they aim to provide. The agency emphasized the importance of creating a safe and high-standard environment for both the artist and the fans.

All ticket holders will receive full refunds through the local organizers and official ticketing platforms. Abyss Company expressed deep apologies to the fans for the sudden news and noted that Sunmi is also disappointed by the cancellation.
