Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan share anecdotes about Dharmendra

During an appearance on the quiz reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati, Bollywood actors Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan shared anecdotes regarding veteran actor Dharmendra.

Sunny Deol revealed that his aspiration to become a professional Formula 1 racing driver remained unfulfilled due to his father Dharmendra’s protective nature. Deol noted that his father did not permit him to pursue sports or activities considered risky, leaving his interest in driving as an incomplete dream.

Aamir Khan, appearing alongside Deol and Preity Zinta, recalled his first meeting with Dharmendra while working as an assistant director. Khan described being intimidated by the veteran actor’s physical presence, noting that Dharmendra’s hand felt ‘like a shovel’ during their initial handshake.
