Sunny Deol begins work on new film projects

Actor Sunny Deol is advancing with multiple new film projects following the release of ‘Bantwara 1947’. Director Rajkumar Santoshi has confirmed that he and Deol are working on a new action-drama titled ‘Ghatak Ghus Ke Marega’. While the title evokes Deol’s 1996 hit ‘Ghatak’, Santoshi clarified that this is an original story rather than a direct sequel.

Simultaneously, Deol has commenced filming for ‘Antony’, an action-thriller produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. Directed by Balaji Ganesh, the film features Deol in a police officer role attempting to dismantle a criminal gang. The production is currently filming high-octane action sequences, including car chases, with Deol performing many of the stunts himself. The cast also includes Jyothika and Vijay Varma.

Other upcoming projects for Deol include an action-drama set in America and a comedy titled ‘Ada Apni Apni’. Following the completion of ‘Antony’, Deol is expected to join the cast of ‘Ramayana: Part 2’.
