Sunny Deol visits Partition Museum to promote ‘Batwara 1947’
Bollywood actor Sunny Deol recently visited the Partition Museum in Amritsar while promoting his upcoming film, ‘Batwara 1947’. Reflecting on the historical significance of the site, Deol noted that the stories of pain, courage, and survival documented there serve as vital reminders for future generations to value peace and humanity.
‘Batwara 1947’ features Deol alongside Preity Zinta, marking Zinta’s return to the screen after an eight-year hiatus. The film is expected to explore themes of violence and forced migration during the Partition era.
During an appearance on the reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, Zinta also shared a humorous anecdote from the 2003 production of ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’ in Manali. She recounted an encounter where a fan became overly comfortable while requesting a photograph with Deol, leading to a lighthearted exchange between the fan and her husband.
