Sunny Hostin criticizes Kelly Clarkson over Brooklyn store footage

Sunny Hostin of ‘The View’ has intensified her criticism of Kelly Clarkson following the release of security footage from a Brooklyn-based curiosity shop, Art of Play. The footage, released by the store on October 13, shows an altercation between the singer and the shopkeeper.

During a segment on ‘The View,’ Hostin suggested that the video changed her perspective slightly but ultimately characterized Clarkson’s behavior as a ‘tantrum’ and ‘a little petty.’ Hostin argued that Clarkson, given her massive social media platform, has a responsibility to handle such disputes privately rather than taking them to social media, which she previously described as a ‘champagne problem.’

Co-host Raven-Symoné defended Clarkson, arguing that celebrity status should not prevent an individual from expressing personal grievances. Symoné suggested that Clarkson’s reaction might be influenced by her personal history and upbringing, noting that outsiders may not understand the context of her feelings.
