Brazil weather outlook calls for sun in Minas Gerais, Salvador and other regions

The National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) forecast a period of stable, dry weather across much of Brazil on Tuesday and Wednesday. In Minas Gerais, most areas will see sunny skies, low humidity and little chance of rain, with daytime highs ranging from the mid‑20s to low 30s °C.

In Salvador and nearby Lauro de Freitas, a sudden eastern wave brought a brief heavy shower and windy conditions on Tuesday, prompting an INMET yellow alert for potential hazards. The rain was short‑lived, and sunshine returned later in the day, with temperatures peaking around 25 °C.

Other local forecasts include Ituiutaba expecting a hot day on Thursday with a maximum of 30 °C and low humidity, while the broader Southeast region (Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo) will experience mostly clear skies, except for more cloud cover in Espírito Santo. Belo Horizonte will have mild temperatures between 15 °C and 27 °C and largely clear skies.

Overall, the outlook calls for minimal precipitation and generally pleasant conditions across the highlighted Brazilian states.
