Sunrise concerts in Italy attract thousands of attendees

More than 1,500 spectators gathered for the fourth edition of the Concerto all’Alba at the historic Castello di Milazzo in Sicily. The event featured the HJO Jazz Orchestra conducted by Benvenuto Ramaci, vocalist‑pianist Anita Vitale, and a surprise performance by internationally‑renowned pianist Alberto Portugheis.

A separate sunrise concert was held at Capo Bruzzano in Calabria as part of the “Mese dei Bronzi di Riace 2026” program. Pianist Jany McPherson led the musical program, which was supported by the European Union, the Italian Republic, the Calabria regional authorities and local municipal officials. Both concerts highlighted the blend of music, natural scenery and regional cultural promotion.
