TRATON GROUP vehicle sales rise 10% in Q3 2026

TRATON GROUP reported a 10% year-over-year increase in vehicle unit sales for the third quarter of 2026, reaching 78,900 units. This growth was primarily driven by strong customer demand in the United States. Cumulative sales for the first nine months of 2026 reached 230,400 vehicles, a 3% increase compared to the previous year.

Performance varied across the group’s brands. Scania Vehicles & Services saw a 3% increase in Q3 sales, supported by production ramp-ups in Rugao, China, and the “Move Brasil” credit program in Brazil. International Motors experienced a significant 48% surge in unit sales. Conversely, MAN Truck & Bus saw a slight decline of 1% in the third quarter, though its nine-month cumulative sales rose by 5%.
