Sunset Summit slated for August 21 PC release on Steam

Future Friends Games announced on July 27 that the cooperative climbing game Sunset Summit will launch for PC on August 21 via Steam. Developed by brothers Andrew and Joe Fender, known for the indie horror title DEVOUR, the game supports up to eight players who climb floating islands using tools such as axes, ropes, drones, pogo sticks and umbrellas. Voice proximity chat and walkie‑talkies facilitate teamwork, while frequent checkpoints reduce the penalty of falls. An offline solo mode and an internal camera for recording climbs are also included.

A demo is already available on Steam, and the developers said interest from the recent PEAK release helped confirm demand for a multiplayer climbing experience.
