Suntech and Inovance unveil advanced solar‑plus‑storage solutions at Intersolar Europe
At the Intersolar Europe 2026 exhibition in Munich, Suntech presented its Ultra T 3.0 high‑efficiency N‑type photovoltaic module platform, featuring quarter‑cut cells, edge passivation and poly‑finger metallisation, along with the SunStorage portfolio that includes residential 25‑125 kW hybrid systems and a 500 kW/1 044 kWh containerised solution with sub‑20 ms backup switching. The company highlighted integrated energy‑management software enabling peak shaving, anti‑backflow control and coordinated solar‑storage operation.
Inovance Technology showcased a new generation of utility‑scale energy‑storage hardware, including a 432 kW string‑type power conversion system (PCS) with SiC technology delivering up to 99.3 % efficiency, larger 400 kW, 1.725 MW and 2.5 MW central PCS units, and turnkey stations ranging from 3.45 MW to 12.5 MW with integrated transformers. Safety features such as explosion venting, leak detection and high‑temperature operation were highlighted, as well as grid‑forming control, black‑start capability and dynamic reactive power support. Both firms emphasized the role of integrated solar‑plus‑storage solutions in enhancing grid resilience and advancing the global net‑zero transition.
