Suntory Beverage & Food Taiwan launches water conservation camp

Suntory Beverage & Food Taiwan has launched its inaugural ‘Water Hero Camp’ in collaboration with Maxing Elementary School in Changhua County. The initiative is part of the company’s global ‘Mizuiku’ water education program, which has been active for over 20 years.

The camp involved 30 students and 20 volunteers, focusing on the theme ‘Without water, there is no life.’ Through interactive workshops and hands-on activities, students explored the relationship between water quality and soil, learned about local water challenges, and discussed practical ways to conserve water at home and in school.

The program aims to address Taiwan’s specific environmental challenges, such as seasonal flooding and water scarcity caused by steep terrain and short river systems. By fostering environmental awareness in children, Suntory intends to encourage long-term water conservation habits within the community.
