Sunwing Marmari Beach to open on Kos in 2027

Nordic Leisure Travel Group is significantly expanding its presence on the Greek island of Kos with the opening of Sunwing Marmari Beach in May 2027. This new family-oriented hotel marks the first Sunwing opening in over 15 years.

The Sunwing Marmari Beach resort will feature 397 rooms and apartments, ranging from studios to villas accommodating up to eight people. The facility includes eight pool areas, multiple dining options, and various recreational services designed for Nordic families.

To support this expansion, the group is increasing flight capacity via Sunclass Airlines. Plans include new direct routes from Billund and the deployment of larger Airbus A330-900neo aircraft from Copenhagen. These strategic investments aim to triple the number of guests visiting Kos starting in 2027 by extending the travel season through the autumn holidays.
