Supchaleun and Viet Nga Group sign $30 million development deals in Laos

The Lao-based Supchaleun Group and Vietnam’s Viet Nga Group have signed a memorandum of agreement to develop two major projects in Vientiane, Laos, with a combined investment of nearly $30 million. The agreement, signed on October 23, focuses on urban infrastructure and high-tech agriculture.

The Supchaleun Central Tower project involves an investment of over $21.2 million. Spanning 4,600 square meters, the complex will consist of two connected 15-story buildings featuring luxury apartments, offices, shophouses, restaurants, and amenities such as electric vehicle charging stations and wellness facilities. The project is expected to take 2.5 years to complete and is projected to generate approximately $25 million in revenue within five years of operation.

The second initiative, a Smart Farm project, will receive an investment of over $8 million. Covering 94 hectares, the project aims to integrate high-tech farming, ecotourism, and a circular economy. The development includes facilities for aquaculture, such as 3,000 fish and shrimp ponds, and 40 hectares of fruit trees. The farm will utilize high-tech water filtration and solar power to optimize costs and environmental protection.
