SUPER BEAVER song selected for high school dance contest

The Japanese rock band SUPER BEAVER has been selected to provide the theme song for the high school dance video contest ‘LOVE Dan 2027’. The contest, hosted by the Nippon TV program ‘DayDay.’, is a student-support initiative where high schoolers create dance videos based on a single designated track to compete for the top spot.

The chosen song is ‘Kokuhaku’, featured on the band’s album ‘Jinsei’ released in June. Choreography for the project will be handled by the prominent choreographer akane. Applications for participating schools open on August 26 via the ‘DayDay.’ official website.

Selected student videos will be featured on the ‘DayDay.’ television broadcast and the official ‘LOVE Dan’ YouTube channel. A sample dance video created for the students is scheduled for release in early October.
