Super Falcons players discuss national team call-ups and squad roles

New Super Falcons midfielder Favour Omenazu has expressed her excitement following her first senior national team call-up. The MK Dons midfielder is part of the Nigerian squad competing in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers against Comoros.

In a separate development, Super Falcons defender Shukurat Oladipo has stated she feels prepared to fill the void left by the retirement of Osinachi Ohale. Oladipo, who recently won the Best Defender award in Italy’s Serie A Women while playing for AS Roma, reflected on her rapid rise from the NWFL to international football.
