SUPER GT 2026 heads to Autopolis for Round 7

The 2026 SUPER GT season continues with the seventh round scheduled to take place at Autopolis on October 18. The event follows the sixth round held at Sportsland SUGO.

In the GT500 class, the au TOM'S GR Supra team is currently pursuing a historic fourth consecutive championship. Despite facing technical challenges, the team has maintained a strong position in the standings. The car has had to contend with success weight regulations, including fuel flow and refueling restrictors, which increase pit stop times as the vehicle's weight rises.

Following a ninth-place finish at Suzuka due to these weight penalties, the team secured a fourth-place finish at the sixth round in SUGO, starting from 11th on the grid.
