Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie to arrive on streaming platforms

The animated sequel “Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie” is set to debut on streaming services following its successful theatrical run. In the United States, the film is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on November 30, 2026. In Latin America, HBO and HBO Max will host the film starting November 20, with a television broadcast on HBO scheduled for November 21.

Produced by Nintendo and Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures, the film follows Mario and Luigi in the Mushroom Kingdom as they encounter Yoshi and embark on a galactic adventure to save Rosalina from Bowser Jr. The movie has been a significant commercial success, grossing over $1 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing animated film of 2026.
