Super Micro Computer partners with Odine to build AI infrastructure in Turkey, shares slide 3.3%

Super Micro Computer Inc. announced a strategic partnership with Turkish technology firm Odine to develop sovereign AI factory infrastructure across Türkiye. The collaboration will combine Supermicro’s NVIDIA‑validated GPU servers with Odine’s system‑integration expertise to support large‑scale AI, 5G and edge computing projects in sectors such as telecommunications, finance, defense and the public sector.

Following the announcement, Super Micro’s stock fell 3.3% on the day, trading as low as $30.28 and closing around $30.63. Analysts noted mixed sentiment: upgrades from GF Securities citing ongoing AI server demand, but concerns over past governance issues and valuation pressures. The company reported Q1 earnings of $0.84 per share on revenue of $10.24 billion, beating earnings estimates but missing revenue forecasts.

The partnership underscores Super Micro’s push into sovereign AI infrastructure and expands its footprint in emerging markets, while the market reaction reflects investor scrutiny of the firm’s growth outlook and recent legal matters.
