Superbloom Festival in Munich sells 30,000 concert tickets despite cancellations

The Superbloom Festival in Munich's Olympiapark concluded its expanded program, with organizer Goodlive reporting that 30,000 tickets were sold for the Superbloom Concerts held from August 31 to September 2, 2026. These three additional concert nights were implemented to compensate for a reduced festival duration, as the Olympiastadion was unavailable due to renovations.

Despite the commercial success of the extended concert series, the event faced several logistical challenges and artist cancellations. Performances by Paul Kalkbrenner, Ayliva, and Monolink were canceled due to production circumstances, while singer Merve withdrew for health reasons and Asha Banks was unable to travel due to a storm.

The lineup featured various artists, including Lorde, Lykke Li, Bastille, and Lewis Capaldi. The festival concluded with a performance by Capaldi, followed by a tribute to the late Dolly Parton via a recording of ‘Islands In The Stream’ played over the PA system.
