SuperBrine reaches top Tekken 8 rank while blindfolded

Professional Tekken 8 player SuperBrine has gained significant attention within the fighting game community after completing a self-imposed challenge: reaching the ‘God of Destruction’ rank while completely blindfolded. Using a sleep mask to obscure his vision, SuperBrine played the character Alisa, progressing from a beginner level to one of the game’s highest ranks.

The achievement was documented through seven separate live broadcasts on Twitch, beginning in June 2026 and concluding in early October. SuperBrine stated his goal was to prove he could accomplish what most consider impossible and to increase his visibility as a professional player.

While the feat has highlighted the effectiveness of Tekken 8’s sound design, it has also sparked debate among players regarding the game’s difficulty and the specific ease of use associated with the character Alisa. SuperBrine has maintained the legitimacy of the run, noting that the entire process was streamed live to prevent any possibility of cheating.
