Superdivisie men's volleyball: Debutants face early losses

The debut matches for several new teams in the men's volleyball Superdivisie resulted in losses for the newcomers. Compaen lost their opening match against Inter Rijswijk in straight sets, with scores of 25-21, 25-14, and 25-20.

Webton also faced a difficult start, losing 3-1 to AVV Keistad. In other matches, Sudosa secured a victory against Taurus after recovering from a first-set deficit, while VoCASA struggled in their opening set against Alterno.

Ahead of their debut, Compaen had focused on squad reinforcement, adding five players including several Dutch U20 and U22 internationals. Coach Sandor Rieuwers noted that while the team shows strength in opening sets during preparation, they need to improve passing and distribution to maintain performance throughout full matches.
