Superdry opens Sheffield store as Liverpool’s Jacaranda launches new market

Superdry has opened a new flagship store on Pinstone Street in Sheffield city centre. The outlet forms part of the council’s £470 million Heart of the City regeneration scheme. Founder and chief executive Julian Dunkerton said the location gives the brand a real opportunity to show what it stands for today and highlighted the broader revitalisation of the area.

In Liverpool, the Jacaranda venue in the Baltic Triangle will host the "Jac of All Trades" market on 9 August. The outdoor courtyard will feature stalls from local artists, designers and food providers, with live music and a record‑store open for browsing. Organisers have invited additional independent traders to apply, and the event is free for participants.

Both initiatives illustrate ongoing retail and cultural investment in northern English cities.
