Oggiono wins record 223 million euro SuperEnalotto jackpot
A record-breaking SuperEnalotto jackpot of approximately 223.17 million euros was won on Friday, September 11, 2026. The winning ticket, which cost only five euros, was validated at the Cafè (formerly Al Chicherin) in Oggiono, located within a supermarket in the Lecco province of Lombardy.
This represents the second-highest jackpot in the history of the competition and the largest single-ticket win ever recorded. While the winner remains anonymous, local reports suggest the player may be a male regular customer who has played the same numbers for over a year. The establishment's owner, Massimo Sala, confirmed the win and noted that the shop had not previously seen such significant prizes.
Following the massive win, the subsequent SuperEnalotto draw on Saturday, September 12, did not produce a jackpot winner, causing the prize pool to rise to over 27 million euros. Other regional wins were reported in Calabria, where two '5' combinations earned a total of 42,158.96 euros.
