Recent scientific research highlights various lifestyle factors that contribute to brain health and the prevention of cognitive decline. Studies indicate that nearly 45% of dementia cases may be linked to modifiable risk factors such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and sedentary lifestyles.
Dietary interventions show significant promise. The DASH diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) has been linked to a 41% reduction in the risk of cognitive impairment, with some data suggesting it can make the biological age of the brain appear younger.
