Supergirl to debut on HBO Max on September 10

HBO Max has announced that the film ‘Supergirl’ will make its global streaming debut on Thursday, September 10. The movie will also be available on the HBO cable channel starting September 12.

As the first entry into the new DC Cinematic Universe, the film explores the origins of Kara Zor-El, the interplanetary nomad and cousin of Superman. The plot follows Kara as she faces a ruthless adversary and embarks on an interstellar journey to balance vengeance with justice while attempting to save her dog, Krypto.

Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, the film is produced by DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran. The cast includes Milly Alcock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, David Corenswet, and Jason Momoa.
