Xbox Game Pass adds new titles for August 2026
Microsoft has outlined the upcoming Xbox Game Pass catalogue for August 2026, confirming several titles that will appear for subscribers across the month. Highlights include the action‑RPG Beast of Reincarnation from Game Freak, slated for 4 August, and the prequel Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy from Asobo Studio, arriving on 27 August. Other announced games cover a range of genres, such as Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2, Star Wars Zero Company and Captain Tsubasa II World Fighters. As usual, the two traditional release “waves” for the month will be disclosed by Microsoft in early and mid‑August, and the list will be updated as further titles are confirmed.
The lineup reflects Xbox Game Pass’s strategy of offering a diverse mix of new releases, indie titles and established franchises to retain and grow its subscriber base throughout the summer.
