Superior Council of Magistracy announces judicial updates in Romania and Moldova

The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) has announced several judicial leadership and evaluation updates in Romania and Moldova.

In Romania, the CSM unanimously decided to delegate judge Felicia-Alina Talianu to the position of Vice President of the Gorj Tribunal, effective October 2, 2026. Talianu, who previously served as the president of the Second Civil Section, will hold this delegated role for up to six months. Consequently, judge Daniela Bolovan will take over the presidency of the Second Civil Section on a delegated basis.

In Moldova, the CSM accepted a report from the external evaluation commission, confirming that magistrate Alina Gorceac of the Chisinau Court has successfully passed her external evaluation. The decision was reached with 12 votes.
