Supermercados Europa opens new branch in Villa Mercedes

Supermercados Europa has opened its fourth branch in the eastern part of Villa Mercedes, located at the intersection of Maipú and Tallaferro. The new facility aims to serve as a community hub, offering services beyond traditional retail, including a pharmacy, a municipal service center, a digital shopping pickup area, a coworking space with a cafeteria, and a children's area.

The opening created 40 new jobs in Villa Mercedes, bringing the company's total workforce to over 200 employees across all locations. The inauguration was attended by San Luis Governor Claudio Poggi and Mayor Maximiliano Frontera, who joined the Gutiérrez family to celebrate the expansion.

Governor Poggi highlighted the importance of coordination between provincial and municipal governments to provide predictability for private investors. He also commended the entrepreneurial culture established by founder Ángel Gutiérrez and his family.
