Superpesis signs multi-year partnership with FDJ United
Superpesis Oy, the operator of Finland's top-tier baseball league, has entered into a multi-year partnership agreement with gambling company FDJ United. Under this deal, the Unibet brand will become the primary partner for the league.
The agreement is set to cover both the men's and women's Superpesis leagues, as well as their respective clubs. The partnership is slated to commence on July 1 of next year, provided that Unibet secures the necessary licensing within Finland's undergoing gambling regulatory reforms.
Superpesis officials described the deal as one of the largest and most comprehensive partnerships in Finnish team sports. The move comes amid rising viewership and media interest in the sport, particularly within major urban areas and in the women's league.
