StarDance hosts Marek Eben and Tereza Kostková to depart after 20 years

Longtime hosts Marek Eben and Tereza Kostková have announced that the upcoming 14th season of the dance competition StarDance will be their last. The duo has been synonymous with the show since its inception in 2006, marking nearly two decades of continuous hosting.

The new season is scheduled to premiere on October 10, with the grand finale set for December 12. While the hosts are departing, Česká televize has confirmed that the show will continue in future seasons, though successors for the hosting roles have not yet been named.

The 14th season features ten competing pairs, including celebrities such as singer Marta Jandová, actress Sara Sandeva, tennis player Radek Štěpánek, and musician Vojtěch Dyk. The production team noted that the upcoming series aims to balance nostalgia for the show's history with fresh energy for its next chapter.
