Superstrada 336 accident injures driver near Samarate-Gallarate

A 36-year-old man was injured after losing control of his vehicle and striking a junction cusp on the Superstrada 336 near the Samarate-Gallarate exit. The accident occurred at approximately 23:10 on Tuesday, October 13, heading east.

Emergency services initially responded with a red code due to the severity of the impact, but the driver's condition was later assessed as non-life-threatening. He was transported to Legnano Hospital under a yellow code. A second vehicle passing through the area was also involved; while it sustained damage, its occupants were not injured.

Firefighters and medical personnel worked to stabilize the vehicle and secure the roadway. The highway's affected half-carriageway was closed to allow for rescue operations, with traffic diverted to local urban roads. The incident occurred at a section of the road noted for its complex lane configurations, which is currently slated for upgrades.
