Superyacht BLUE II strikes Isthmus of Corinth walls

The luxury superyacht BLUE II, valued at approximately $50 million, experienced difficulties while navigating the narrow Isthmus of Corinth on Saturday, August 8.

Footage captured by Michalis Papamanolakis for the channel ‘Korinthognosia’ shows the nearly 56-meter vessel maneuvering with extreme difficulty through the tight channel. The video depicts the yacht passing at a very close distance to the banks and making contact with the walls of the Isthmus at multiple points during its passage.

The vessel is highly equipped, featuring two main suites, a cinema room, a private office, and a wellness area including a sauna, hammam, and gym.
