Supreme Court of the Philippines to release 2026 Bar Exam results in January 2027

The Supreme Court of the Philippines is expected to release the results of the 2026 Bar Examinations in January 2027. Chairperson Samuel Gaerlan stated that the timing is intended to allow examinees and their families to observe the Christmas holiday season.

The 2026 examinations were held on September 6, 9, and 13 across 15 testing centers nationwide. Approximately 11,900 applicants participated out of 13,441 admitted candidates, marking a high turnout for the licensure test.

Notable accommodations were provided during the exams, including encoders for examinees with disabilities, such as a blind individual and an amputee. Additionally, one person deprived of liberty was permitted to take the exam at a local testing center under security protocols. While most exams were conducted via laptop, three candidates were granted permission to use handwritten examinations due to age, medical conditions, or technical issues.
