Słupsk increases budget for Centrum Wsparcia project
The cost of developing the Słupskie Centrum Wsparcia on Partyzantów Street has significantly increased. During a Słupsk City Council session, officials addressed budget changes and long-term financial forecasts for 2026–2038.
The total value of the investment project has risen to approximately 63.8 million PLN. This is a substantial increase from the original 2024 estimate of roughly 35.3 million PLN. While the project originally aimed for completion by 2026, the timeline has been extended by one year.
Funding for the project includes 30 million PLN from the 'Polski Ład' program. However, the city's required own contribution has risen to nearly 34 million PLN to cover the rising costs. City councilors have raised concerns regarding the transparency of the budget increases and whether the administration was aware of these escalating costs during the initial funding application process.
